Master Program at UTEPSA-University, Santa Cruz, Books in spanish language.

Gabriel Rene Moreno University.
On September 26th the first Santa Cruz Positive Psicotherapy Center has been created at Gabriel Rene Moreno University. This has been the result of work carried out over the last two years and the training of 150 psychology students in the basic methodology of Positive Psychoterapy and their participation in practical applications in the community. The Center is made up of the original gradutes of the Diploma program at Nur, as well as students from the basic training course offered by the Psychology Department. The justification for the creation of the center is the demand and enthusism expressed by local professionals and faculty, as well as social welfare institutions. The center will provide a resource for practical applications of Positive Psychotherapy within the university itself and in the community at large. This initiative will further boost interest and ligitimacy for the application of PP and the Masters training that I understand is about to be offered in Santa Cruz.

In July 1997 the first graduate groups received their certificates and diplomas from a three-year postgraduate program for Positive Psychotherapy.

Russian Federation

Since 1991, about 3500 health and educational professionals have participated in 70 one-week intensive seminars in more than 25 cities all over the country. About 650 have finished a two-year postgraduate training program as psychotherapists or family consultants. Many of these seminars were the first psychotherapeutic seminars ever held in some of the republics and regions of Russia.

The Russian Association of Positive Psychotherapy was established in 1993 and registered by the Ministry of Justice in 1996. It is based in the Pavlov Medical Institute in St Petersburg. Its journal "Positum" was first published in 1993 becoming one of the first of the very few psychotherapeutic journals in the country.

The Russian Ministry of Health's Russian Academy of Advanced Medical Studies recognises the certificates issued by the ICPP for Russian participants in CME and postgraduate psychotherapeutic training.
